Flip Flop Class - Girl's Gymnastics

The Flip Flop class is an intermediate level class that students move to once they have completed all the requirements of the Cartwheel class. It is part of the Girl's Gymnastics Program.
The Flip Flop Class is a 55 minute class for girls ages Kindergarten and older. Students must have completed all the requirements of the Carthwheel class, or must be evaluated in order to enroll in this class. Classes are designed to maximize fun while learning. Students are taught and tracked based on the skills they learn on the four main Olympic Events: Vault, Bars, Balance Beam, and Floor, as well as well as Trampoline. The Flip Flop class has a list of skills that each student is striving to learn. Once skills are achieved, students will progress to higher class levels.
AOU Courses 233-239 will outline all skills and helpful tips in video format for all required skills on all events for the Flip Flop class, but first, review the Progression Chart below, that all students will progress through. All of these skills will be covered in those lessons:
